for safe skiing and snowboarding |
The Staff in the ski areas are working hard to prevent accidents. Please keep in mind that the most important thing is the thoughtful behavior by the skiers or snowboarders themselves.
1. We do not take responsibility if you venture out of the designated area of a ski run. 2. Please look after your own safety and try not to harm others or their belongings. 3. As for using the equipment other than the regular ski, please follow the rules of the concerned ski area. 4. Be sure to attach the stopper to your equipment so that it will not slide off when it is disconnected. 5. Never enter a prohibited area. 6. Never approach the snowmobiles. 7. Inform the staff or concerned people of your address and name in case of accident. 8. Follow the instructions or advice given by the staff of the ski area. 9. Skiers or snowboarders who cause trouble to others will be ordered to leave.
It is the sole responsibility for skiers or snowboarders to judge the ski area's condition. Control your skis or snowboards so as to avert accidents, with or without signboards. While skiing and snow boarding should be sports to enjoy downhill speeding on a snowcovered mountain, there are elements which may lead to accidents. See as follows: 1. Weather conditions: snowstorms, rain, strong winds and thick fog. 2. Terrain: Cliffs, steep slopes and bumps. 3. Condition of the snow or ice: frozen slopes, fresh snow, bumps. 4. Natural environment: condition of the ground, rocks, bushes, stumps or trees. 5. Artificial structures: lift pillars or buildings. 6. Approaching too closely to other skiers or snowboarders. 7. Lack of concentration of skiers or snowboarders themselves. 8. Other unforeseen happenings. |
For Safe use of the lifts |

When riding the lift, don't do the following things: (1) Swinging the chair, (2) Jumping from the chair, (3) Romping on the chair or looking back, (4) Touching pillars or others with your ski pole. 6. When alighting, stand up quickly and slide away. 7. Immediately move toward the ski run in order not to disturb the following passengers. 8. If the lift stops suddenly, keep still and wait. The staff will handle the situation. 9. If your behavior is deemed unsafe, the staff have every right to refuse your use of the lifts.
