Course Outline
During this walk, there is a large Japanese Lime tree that has been designated as a special natural monument of Nagano prefecture.
It is a large tree that is said to compete for tallest and oldest in Japan, with an estimated tree age of 800 years, a tree height of about 23 m, and a root circumference of about 10 m!
You should really check it out! You can enjoy various seasonal flowers on this course, which is rich in vegetation as you travel through parts of Shiga Kogen including the Diamond Marsh.
