In the dining area of the French restaurant 'Gendai' located at the back of the lounge, we offer both Japanese and Western lunch menus. Directly connected to the ski resort, you can enter with your ski boots on. Enjoy a casual lunch atmosphere while savoring the hotel’s cuisine. Please note that we do not accept reservations for lunch. Dinner is also available, with options for either Japanese or French cuisine, and reservations are required by the day before.

Our hearty burgers are made with a patty that contains Japanese wagyu beef, without any fillers. Our authentic Neapolitan pizzas are baked in a kiln at over 500°C, and we have many repeat customers. The restaurant features a clean and beautiful mountain cabin-style interior. On our spacious wooden deck, we offer draft beer to quench your thirst after a fun day of skiing.

This restaurant is located on the first floor of Hotel Japan Shiga. Our restaurant is bright and clean, serving dishes made with local Shinshu beef, pork, and fresh vegetables. We are open for dinner only. Snow King is a winter stopover spot in snow-covered Shiga Kogen that makes you pause and linger. This lively space offers Shiga Kogen draft beer delivered straight from the brewery, along with Japanese sake and domestic whiskey. The signature Shiga Kogen Beer Rice dish uses Shiga Kogen Beer, Japanese Black beef, and abundant local ingredients to create a dish rich in depth and umami. Their aromatic panini are also popular. It's a spot that adds color to a day in the snowy mountains, enjoyed by adults and children alike.This season ends on March 31, 2026!

The yakiniku Sam Restaurant, based mainly in Nagano Prefecture, has opened a new restaurant at Shiga Kogen Yamanoeki. The menu includes Japanese beef short rib rice bowls, beef curry made with beef tendon, and noodle dishes such as ramen and cold noodles. Popular menues like Karbi Ramen, cold noodles, and stone-grilled bibimbap are also available, with optional toppings such as pork cutlet or grilled beef.
