😎 One of the Largest Ski Areas in Japan 😎
Shiga Kogen is famous of its over 400 hectares field and this is one of the largest ski areas in Japan. It’s also known for being one of the sites for Nagano Olympic games in 1998.
There are 18 ski resorts connected by lifts and gondolas or shuttle buses. The 46 lifts and gondolas cover this huge snow area, and you can take all of them with one lift pass.
As it is vast site, there are various type of slopes, easy or steep, wide or narrow, groomed or not, bumpy or forest, and more. Beginners to experts, everyone will find slopes fit for their skills and preferences. You can also try Olympic courses to challenge your riding skills!
The 18 ski resorts are divided into 5 areas.
Each area provides limited area lift pass if you want to focus on practice in one area. If you are ready for the adventure of riding on every ski resort, we recommend you to get a whole mountain lift pass.
