Shiga Kogen has 18 ski areas, and opening dates can vary depending on snowfall and snow accumulation.

Connection Course Status
The ski areas of Shiga Kogen are divided into two main zones — the northern area and the southern area.
Each zone is internally connected by ski runs, lifts, and gondolas, allowing you to move around while skiing.
However, the northern and southern zones are not directly connected by ski courses, so traveling between them requires a shuttle bus or car.

A free shuttle bus runs between the ski areas from 8:30 to 17:30 daily.
