National Route 292 Shiga Kusatsu Kogen Route

National Route R292（From Yozaka Gate to Gunma Prefecture Kusatsu) is FULLY OPEN from 22 May 2025 at 8am.

Please note: Access is allowed only between 8:00 and 17:00, and traffic is one-way only. As of 24 May 2025, Google Maps indicates a road closure; however, daytime passage is allowed. From 17:00 to 8:00, travel from Shiga Kogen (Shibu Pass) toward Kusatsu, Gunma is possible via Manza Onsen and the Manza Highway (toll road). Pedestrians, bicycles, and motorcycles under 125cc are not permitted on this route.
